At this year’s DIA Annual Meeting, June 14-17 in Washington, DC, Akaza Research will be exhibiting and demonstrating the latest edition of OpenClinica software at Booth #1944. OpenClinica is the world’s leading open source software for electronic data capture (EDC) and clinical data management.
In addition, Cal Collins, the CEO of Akaza Research, will join other industry executives in panel discussion titled “Utilizing and Integrating Open Source Software in Clinical Research Environments.” Accompanying Mr. Collins will be Mark Paul, CEO of Statworks Inc., and Mark Adams, Project Manager of the NCI’s Cancer Biomedical Informatics Grid (caBIG) and Principal at Booz Allen Hamilton. The session will use real-world case studies to explore how open source software enhances flexibility, interoperability, and cost in clinical trials, and will take place on Thursday, June 17 at 8:30 in Room 152B.
